Vegan Beef Stew

A thick & hearty vegan beef stew recipe that your family will love! This tasty stew is filled with potatoes, carrots, peas & beef seitan. It tastes amazingly similar to traditional beef stew.

Sauté diced onion over low heat, then celery, carrots, salt, oregano, thyme & black pepper & turn up heat for 2 minutes.

Add water or vegetable stock, soy sauce & tomato paste. Add potatoes & bring to a slow boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Sauté cubed vegan beef in oil until it's slightly charred on all sides.

Then sprinkle your meat substitute with flour until it's well coated.

Once the potatoes & veggies are tender, add the flour-coated faux meat to the stew & stir well until the stew thickens

Add dry red wine if desired for more flavor.
